where the wild flowers grow

you
do not love me
like you
love
pushing buttons
on my chest,
keeping my heart
in a constant state
of quick motion..

you
will not notice
i've been crying,
for i
keep my tears
well kept
deeply
inching within me
like tiny daggers..

time picks
at the wounds
so irritatingly
and i itch
for just a few words
to make me warm...

for i cannot sleep
without the calm scar
pulsating within me

it will always be there
desperately beating
and i will not
comfort it..

i will never forget that

you

do not love me..

as i love you..
the first to leave
a true scar
upon my heart..

this is such
a miserable ghost..

and i will allow myself
to be forsaken.

... first scars are tough ones,
        they survive most everything ...

this is very deep, and the most
healing words, and most honest ...

                ... we believe in you!

and yet another time I do believe you have channeled my exact thoughts and feelings, Meg.

this is such
a miserable ghost..

Yes, it sure is and the sad thing?
They don't see through that thin veil as we do and THAT is what makes it so hard.

Beautiful writing, missy
Hug that baby.
She loves you, as do we.

I think the first scars are the most painful and I for one, even though I am 50 now, have not forgotten my first scars and who put them there....You speak from the heart...I hope healing will come soon...*big hugs*

"and i will allow myself
to be forsaken"

we all forsake ourselves at least once, it's how we learn.

as always the way you write it moves me.

This...sigh

recognition is the hardest part.

Sometimes we don't get what we want or need from others, not because they are stingy of the heart--sometimes they just don't have it to give.

This is so heartwrenching. You definitely express what the heart feels, Kaoru.   ....jo

oh god, you have an ability to take me right back to my own moments and relive them.

Some people can do their worst to you and never make a mark. Then that, special someone, (ha!) comes along, and they just seem to know exactly what to.

into my library again.
