we loved ...

a gaugement
blessed by a
Christmas star,
a birth
but a distance away
became too far
my Love of life
could not stay

... until now,
until today

we live ...

in a rush of
coolwater, butterflies
scents of a
real love

colours of souls,
strings of heartcries

sounds no one
else knows

... until now,
until today

we long ...

through the whole
of times,
to fall once
more

unescapeable

my soul ... it chimes
echoes of my heart's core

unreplaceable,
I always thought

... until now,
until today

until Love,
once more,
finds its way

In the Discussion forum I saw a request for help for a poem yesterday morning ....

.... after hearing the story, learning, again, what it means to tell someone how you feel ....

together, with this person who felt she could never write, found these simple lines of her heart ....

                           .... and she smiled.

jo   -  her smile is quite sweet

lauren -  my heart would be a happy one ....
