In The Sun

In the sun I fitfully slept
Digesting all my nights incept
Intoxicated with the dill
That spiced the ingest of my will

The dancing of a dance Macabre
Like running on a water log
Balancing the ego’s weave
To steady the go of believe

Irrational the shadows fell
Shoaling me a potent spell
Spicing feelings filled with awe
Filling up my very core

Wave on wave it crashed in fold
Nor could I find a straw to hold
And drown me in a black of night
Until the sun brought back the light

But in the sun I could not wake
Or shake the feeling of the ache

You've got to lay off
those burritos and sauce, Sy...

Methinks you need some
of the moth's raspberry tea!

Sy?

were you the one keeping me up last night?
Sheesh, no wonder I could not sleep.

I saw so much more in this.

Good morning Seymour. Good to see you
again this fine day. I have to get on
here before our daily thunderstorms come.
Are you having them in your part of Florida, too?
We have them every day, it seems, and I have to
unplug my computer.
Hugs,
