The Eddies Rim

I swim about the eddies rim
It pulls me towards the centers core
I cannot pull away the brim
Nor set my feet upon the shore

My egos bends beneath the cruel
Time has warped my bones to slight
There is a trick to pack a mule
To stay the darkness of the night

Weary wears the cloak of life
And heavy is the stroke of time
And dancing to a timeless fife
Cripples with its pantomime

I would a flight above the clouds
To see the stars of midnight blue
To toss from me the heavy shrouds
And see the making of the dew

Each morning echoes with the din
And I cannot free the eddies win

Ok.

I've read this four times.

It is hauntingly sad...
and beautiful, too.

Take your vitamins...

And eat your veggies...

But dear Seymour, you may not be able to free eddies win, but your pen dances in the morning light and stirs your heart to dance along ...

What you share with us is always so precious.

Have a wonderful time and follow Sunshine's advice... and you will see and enjoy the dew when it receives the sun's kiss and you will be mesmerized.

Love and hugs.

Sometimes we just have to lament don't we (is that a verb LOL.) You know what I mean, just plain whine!  Now have a glass of red wine tonight with those vitamens and swim with the whales.
