Between the Lines

I hang my thoughts,
those of before
and those of now
impressed by
the softness of words,
caring, so often lacking
letting them paint my body
with fragments of memory,
gentle strokes in blending.

Have I told you lately?
No, been walking alone too much
words being planted
where they cannot grow.

The seeds of my unrest
suffer me, linking beyond my yesterdays
when all I wish for is
the myst from the reign of ...

I have to really think this one out, as believe it or not this left a very sad feeling with me Maureen.  I only wished the soul of this walker were at peace.
