Which to love more,

    The tickling of mountain stream,
Or,  the spongy cushion of the grass?
The freedom  she gives my soul
A comfort zone, a place to laugh?

The independence of walking
     Though, supported by earthen sponge?
The other, the adventure of rock climbing
       To heights I’ve never hung
Which to love more?
The mountain or the ground?
Not one love, but two my steps have found…
