The stars shine above us
Uniting souls that are oblivious to eachother
Their hearts meant to be
Yet their faces and names are mysteries
Call them starcrossed lovers
The full moon is the unity of their hearts
Eyes locked on the exact same star
It seems this is meant to be
Fate playing its ironic jokes again
Knowing that their hands should be locked together
Yet keeping them apart
Hearts pining for true love
Still believing in that one special someone
Like Romeo and Juliet
They are kept apart for no reason
A cold wind cuts the star gazing short
Both parties head back inside
Wondering if love truly exists
Not knowing the truth

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.

YES it is like that, starcrossed love is as close as the moon outside your window

I see that you are "Living in Canada for now". Well, I hope it is a loooong time! We never can have too many poets up here north of the 49th parallel!

I have had similar thoughts but had never put pen to paper to express them. Thank you for doing it for me! ~ and so well!

Love & Starlight,
EA

Thank you iliana. I am glad that you enjoyed it.
Thank you Midnitesun. though it is hard to capture the lovers heart, no pun intended.
Thank you, passing shadows. You are correct it is an all to familiar seen. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you, marcel. I have not found it yet, but I will never give up looking. Fate is truly an enigma.
Thank you, inkedgoddess. I could not have said it better myself.
Thank you, Earth Angel. I am living in Canada for now, no place can ever have too many poets. I state for now, because one never knows what the future holds.
I am glad to oblige.
Thank you, Daniel J D.

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.
