Five thousand miles is a long way to go
to be with an internet friend that you know!
But I love adventure, the timing was right
So over the ocean I flew one dark night....

The new land I entered was ancient and bold
And for a short while, I had your hand to hold
But as with the rest of my gypsy heart’s dreams
my hopes disappeared, or at least so it seems...

It didn’t take long to discover the loss
the nights were spent turning and how I would toss
But, I’m a survivor, and always will be
No matter what country, I’ll always have me...

I gave up my music, my writing, my self
Just to find out I was stuck on some shelf
And you had pulled one disappearing fine act
Your body is there, but it’s love that you lack...

Still I hold on, as I’m told I must do
By government big shots who think just like you
So, time is my friend now, and teaching me lots
How to hide feelings, and never show thoughts...

But I’m a fast learner, and now know the game
The wand’s in your hand, but it’s mine all the same
So in the next years I will gain what I lacked
Witness you’ll be to my own disappearing act!!

Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life

So incredibly intense that one feels your words deeply and finds them familiar...The lessons can be good but remember opening your heart in words is a very big part of you...Though your trust has been badly damaged I hope some healing can come from your return to writing and to the blue pages of those who love you...Take care, dear one and write on...there is healing in your words...**big big hugs*

Hello, my friend. My thoughts and prayers have
been with you and will continue to be.
By the way, you may not be writing as much,
but you haven't lost your touch, Sweetie.
I could feel this that you wrote.

Please take care of YOU.
Hugs,

There is so much pain in your words it seems they're framed by unfulfilled dreams. But... there's also such immense strength in these lines I know you'll find other dreams...

It's so good to see you posting! I've missed my birthday twin! *S*
