Listening to every heart

In the Month of Remember

What does it hurt then,
Remembering ~

Seems quite innocent
If we chance upon
A moment

In the month of remember,
A dateless time,
With only a pen to guide us
Only a page to inspire

A moment
Unsurpassed as never before
Or ever will be,
Again.

So I ask you,
What if
We take a lifetime of
Remembers
Encapsulate them
Into this Moment

And make it

A

Life’s span…

Would you love with me there?

~*~

With thanks for the inspiration
to Janet Marie and Martie,
and Gentle Spirit,
for a poem, and a comment…

I shall never forget.

Those words made me think.  My lifetime of remembers are not something I would want to make a life's span....could I pick and choose instead?

Very nicely done Karilea.

Susan, Donna...

When you remember only the good,
knowing you've tucked the worst away...

then yes, pick and choose...
exactly.

like a spiritual float, some might call it ADD, in our case, selective ADD...huh?

Completely wrapped me up in a very contented sigh...

Beautifully articulated!

well I dont know what I said,(you know I talk too much) heh
but this is lovely...wistfully, sofly lovely.

"If words but could...they would"

your poetry always does.

I'll bare the brunt of your long buried pain
I don't mind helping you out ...
But I want you to remember my name

Sissie

I think we can choose a month, a day, an hour or one tiny second, to remember love forever...indeed a lifetime.  So, the answer is, YES!

I am not sure how I missed this the first time around...but it is lovely!!  Wishing that I could take all the beautiful moments in my life and relive them forever...but then...it would be Heaven and I wouldn't be able to learn all the things that God has in store for my future.     I guess taking the memory and playing it through my minds eye will have to do the trick till that day comes, huh???

Hugs to you, Sunshine!!  This was beautiful....   ~  Becka

Karilea,
Nicely done. What month is that? I forget.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
