Love down, a new word used.

     I liked that word.
     Not a broken heart,

     just love down...

     Made sense to me.

     Heartbroken,
how can a heart be broke?
I guess when it comes down to it
     a heart can't be broke.

     A heart continues to beat~
     a heart goes on~
     a heart can forgive~
     a heart can heal.

     Lovedown,
     have to remember that word,
so the next time ya feel like your
     heart is broken, remember
     you aren't heartbroken,

     your feeling love down.

     Sounds so much better...

     Seems easier to accept

     than a broken heart.....

I think you've invented a new word...It made me think of being let down....how appropriate is love down...I too know the feeling and you are right a heart doesn't break for it goes on beating silently waiting for someone to bring it to life again...A wonderful poem that leaves a person thoughtful....**big hugs**

Kari, yes, I am sure the wisest man
I know and a friend of the kind
am really not deserving, but grateful for.

Karen, thank you.  Don't know all about
that waiting for someone part, but the words fit right now.
Yeah, and let down fits right in there also.
Hugs to you for your kindness, always.

Love Down?

anything that doesn't last I have to beleive wasn't meant to be.     (please no hate mail anyone, this is just how I get through).

What is the opposite of Love Down Donna?

I do enjoy how you think and write it out.

Donna, I like "Love Down" better than
"heartbreak" too. It sounds like it might
hurt less??
A good write, Hon. I enjoyed.
Hugs,
Ethel
