Gift of Words

If there was one wish I'd wish
would be selfishly in thought,
wanting just a touch of feel,
the kind that can't be bought.

A smile from you, at least in eyes,
acknowledgement of care,
or maybe even more than that
in silent warmth of stare.

A present wrapped in presence kind,
the bows your hands that hold.
A kiss from lips that share your worth,
meant more to me than gold.

A wishlist short, of happiness
this weakness time of year.
Beyond the longing, memories,
I gift these words, sincere.
