I wait for you
knowing you will not come
how I could have guessed
the stranger in your face
considering me

so I climbed the stairs
past the flowers
for the lover on the lonely shelf

mark me the light of bare walls
~
reading again ---

your letters told me this:

with certain line
as if it had always been the one word

neither of us could say

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes this art

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
oh yessssss...
thank you for this last lovely read of the nite.
Oh and your sig?
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes this art
oh yes it does become art.
Heart-Art!!
I'll bare the brunt of your long buried pain
I don't mind helping you out ...
But I want you to remember my name
L girlie...
you've no idea how much I know this particular ache...
nor how much I feel your words
and hear your heart speak...
a strange one in your absence
Lauren, I said it once a long time ago, and here it is again: your writing always reminds me of a peaceful, smooth river, that I can dip my toes into and really do some thinking about life!!!  I really enjoyed this one, my friend...~S~
... I was just thinking ... poinsetta's or daffidils?
         .... either would be soothing, yet not quite a statement ...
             ... not 'til such time may have arose ...
Orchids ... they make a beautiful statement!
            romance, passion, love ... individualism
            unique and unforgetful
            I see why they would be for you!
