Sleepy Time

Sleepy never ever saw a bed his eyes closing over his almighty dread

The condition of bacheleur and nagging about washing and the trough
And clean clothes

Yes his cup was filled between naps and his nose was clean between

Slaps of a ruby, black, well the diamonds would come off

And that was Sneezy anyway

Long days, and now with all that washing, cleaning, dressing

Longer nights

And if he could just ease his belly off the table

He would go to bed

And he had was himself, his clothes, cleaned his room

And all he wanted now

Was to move his belly

To it’s clean room, clean bed, into a clean nightshirt

And well his dreams are his

And well his dreams are his...

Ok, here's what I think.  I think I'm reading Faulkner all over again.

He has this style of allowing one to interpret lines and sentences [at least, this is my first suspicion - I am just now {finally} beginning to read his work] but in the first book I started, he writes...

very much like this - fill in the blank and leave no one to assigned to any which way one's words might fall, dont even type in the apostrophe for Gods sake because someone might say it wouldnt be right there.

Yes, sort of like that.

And now I know who you remind me of, with your depth, and style.

Faulkner.

I have to agree with Sunshine. There was something in the back of my mind when I read you, and now I know. College Lit was too many years ago.

You took the trouble to read me and understand me

I took the trouble not to read you and understand you

A balance in life
