A world of Time

I live within a world of time
Running out of fuel and prime
I beat the drums of vitamin play
To catch the wind of further stay

This wind is but a breeze of hope
A piece of hemp a piece of rope
Another wink of dream and sleep
Another step of hope and leap

I cannot say the why of do
There’s something there inside of you
That seems to keep you on the course
Something of a deeper source

To me it is a mystery
Short lived we see by history
And I will tumble into fate
When ever comes my time and date

I can but leave a word or two
For future read for future view

Good morning Sy!
This was a great read first this steamy morn.
Summer, a cup of tea, and reading your post first thing.
Who could ask for more?
& , Nancy

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Dear Sy, You are so strong of faith and share your wise wit. I read all you write and since I am so close in age, I treasure it all. Just can not write the good reply.  Too close to home I guess.  What you write is so needed. So much better than the dribble I get from acquaintances I know,  about sags and wrinkles. That is not the true identity of those I hang out with!!  Best to you martyjo

A word or two indeed....Each one begins the weave of a vision that takes us into worlds of magic....they are timeless as the vision that takes form when they flow from your heart and mind to the page....All who read your poems know they will live on in our hearts forever....but never fear you will remain with us a very long time...afterall who else would weave the magic we need to fill our souls from reading your "word or two"?...*big hugs*

A little of both should do the trick.

Saved faster than you can say, "T-Time"!

Yes, your voice will ring out around the world through your illustrious poetry ~ long after God beckons you back Home!

I may not know you personally, but I do love you through your poetry!

Love & God's Light,
EA

Always enjoy your words, my friend...  I hope they never stop -- they're like a rare and reliable constant in our world of perpetual change, and I appreciate them and you.

Darn it all, I too have joined the vitamen crowd but anything it takes to give "oomph" I am all for it.  I shall indeed follow your footsteps, in wisdom and word Sy.  (Psst, hug that Isabel for me will you please?)
