Could I be humbled more
if God had made me poor
but, no, he sends the where-with-all
for me to hear his people
shout the goodness out
and be a woman moved
by the element of doubt.

In the middle unprepared
for mass consciousness
the shoulder crush and body push,
in all seriousness,
no accidental happening
or sheer coincidence
but the need of human will
to take precedence.

An emergent woman;
could it be I’m meant to see
how easily my counterparts
shed human dignity
like a raincoat in the sun
or love into a basket
of there that’s finished, done.

Play ball but not before
the two opposing sides
separate and generate
a war-like state of mind
and God asks me if I were him,
would I still love, recreate,
or suffer in the interim?

My voice – I have no voice
and no visionary stare.
My people, your people,
contaminate the air
to make of understanding
like pie in the sky
and pride in human nature
undoubtedly a lie.

A thousand times invaded
by foible, sin, and whim,
and for a million dollars …
I never would be him!

Helen, this was very cleaverly done, depicting the commond sense and importance of life...so many people today, think b/c they believe in God, their job is done.  God does not wave a magic wand, he puts us here, giving us nothing absolutely nothing but free will, and if we screw it up, we have nothing or no one to blame but ourselves, which begins the climb of human dignity.

Thank you for this...and God bless you

Love how you string your words  together and always  enjoy reading Lee's interpretations since I  am less knowledgeable at that.

Thanks LeeJ - Thanks for the read. How insightful you are but then again amazing people are just naturally so.

M - Don't worry - I myself sometimes need my words interpretated. Thanks for the read.

Startime - thanks.  Games are always good as long as we all play by the same rules.  That doesn't happen often in life though.

Yes, Martie, and that's because your ears are fine tuned.  Thanks for listening.
