(On this day five years ago, I made my debut here at Passions, where some of you may remember how shy I was...and many of you were here for me when I was shy and awkward...and reached out and hugged me when I felt ignored and felt as though no one was reading me a few times and was almost tempted to leave for good...and have made me feel right at home in this second family, yay!

God Bless You All for your friendship and support! I credit this wonderful family ever soooooooo much for making me the confident, upbeat person I am now with a sexy outlook on life, yay! Indeed your warmth and friendship is of deepest sentimental value to me and has even made me cry in warmth with a smile on my face today, yay! Thanks y'all, and the five years certainly won't end here as I am blessed to be part of this poetic family onward, yay! All I need now is a Mistletoe Angeless to show off to all of you and share future poetic duets with, yay! (giggles) )

Sentimental Value

I watched the eyelashes glissade,
from your eyes...

lacrimating upon my cheeks...
.
.
.
...why did I believe I believed,
I could perceive all you could see?
Your resonating heartbeat echos on,
sketching upon my heart,
like a trees annual rings...
.
.
.
I've given up on spring cleaning,
I'm reading proverbs that never had meaning,
you lift your coffee mug from my hearts table,
leaving a ring behind...
.
.
.
In all this discussion of eternity,
it's overwhelming...

my wishlist is incomplete...
.
.
.
...so will you be my sky pilot,
will you train me to exhale softly and dream sweetly,
we're peripatetics wandering with clouds below our knees...
.
.
.
I've given up on spring cleaning,
I'm reading proverbs that never had meaning,
you lift your coffee mug from my hearts table,
leaving a ring behind...
I'm decorating soliloquies,
I'm framing fantasies,
I'm a shepherd woolgathering,
I'm hanging onto these remnants of sentimental value...
.
.
.
.
.
.
I remember Dr. Seuss, Captain Kangaroo,
bathetic novels and songs I read to you,
if only I could collect your scent into a Yankee candle,
incense just cannot do...
.
.
.
I've given up on spring cleaning,
I'm reading proverbs that never had meaning,
you lift your coffee mug from my hearts table,
leaving a ring behind...
I'm decorating soliloquies,
I'm framing fantasies,
I'm a shepherd woolgathering,
I'm hanging onto these remnants of sentimental value...

I'm decorating soliloquies,
I'm framing fantasies,
I'm a shepherd woolgathering,
I'm hanging onto these remnants of sentimental value,
sentimental value...

Noah, there are many captivating lines in your anniversary poem.  Like yourself, I was very shy when I first came to Passions and saw the wealth of talent surrounding me.  You and I - we know a good thing when we see it, don't we?

Congratulations, Noah, on the many successes you have come to know in these last short five years.  Someday, soon, you are going to be one of those folk we are all going to be fortunate to talk about, in terms of, "gee, and we knew him when!"

CONGRATULATIONS NOAH!!
I cannot even imagine Passions without you.
You were here when I arrived and welcomed me with kindness.
This Christmas you have brightened my spirit more than you know!

Cheers to you our Mistletoe Angel!

Keep on writing, singing and sharing.

Noah ~

During these past 5 years, you have used Pip as one of the vehicles to send your loving light out into the world.

You truly are a mistletoe angel and you are beloved by your fellow pipsters.

Your gentle spirit and effervescent personality are imbued on these blue pages ~ and in our hearts.

You are very special!
God bless you!
