Life Is Beautiful

Sometimes we don't
get along,
my sweetheart and me.

We disagree on issues
that are important
to her and to me.

But when we do
get along,
we seem to be
matched so perfectly.

Those are the
precious times
when this life
is beautiful to me.

not getting along, is another way of saying we allow each other our own views, (without insulting each other b/c of it, or trying to make them feel like less of a person for their belief) understanding and respecting that...which grows a relationship....hugs to you and she! Yes, life is beautiful, when two can mutually share maturity.

Even disagreements are beautiful. You see some day when he or she is gone we wish to have a chance to disagree knowing that those moments will never be again. Those disagreements are what will live on as lessons that hopefully, we will have learned from. Enjoyed your poem very much!
