Sometimes one can't begin to understand when someone you love falls sick so suddenly Who do you blame? Do you blame anyone? I've known this man all my life The one who has taught me right from wrong and even right from left. He taught me to ride a bike and never lie. Never once did he hug me or tell me he loved me. But somewhere I always new he did. He may of never been the best influence and always drank until he slept. But he did try and worked hard. Growing up was never easy with him. Through my childhood years and now as an adult, we've never seen eye to eye. We may never... Through it all I have learned alot and am thankful. No matter how tough our relationship is, He will always be my dad. ************************ Just ranting here. I just found out my dad has diabetes and has only 1/3 of his liver working. |

Yes no matter what we go through in the past , they are still our parents and we still feel , my husband had diabetes , so I know how hard it is for them to cope with at times Hope |

Thanks for the replies... This is so hard to take in. I guess sometimes you think nothing could ever happen to your parents........and then one day. |
