When rest comes to you
in the calm of your night,
while you slumber it is I
that presses               cheek to glass

cooling the sting of fear, settling in
to reside inside seeming like a
stranger to me; this feeling of
uncertainty

so much that
although soft drops
of rain fall
against my window

pain is not soothed,
no usual feeling is
brought of peace

my tears fall
        and I am lost
in wondering
if you heart can hear the sounds
of my     soul remembering     our dance.

I refuse to make plans past this moment in time....

A beautiful bittersweet write Donna...
I don't think though..that I would have
wanted to 'miss the dance'...
no matter how sadly it ended.
Love ya lady~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back
