Earth-bound
i am a shadow among the trees
among the wild and the honey bees
on the edge of this land
which does not move, as the sea
in her swarming

i am thirsty
and i have worn the skin of trees
in their kingdom
there, they have embraced me
and i am rested

but now

i fall to knees
uneasy
and in the dawn of apocalypse
i plead for respite
to be united         once more
as one
with the fishes
the merriment of sailors
and
the water's song
that lulled me to dream
while these earthy chains
had seized me,

oh blue heaven
my globus home, how i ache
for the deep serenity with in
your surging madness.

Beautiful duet from two of Passion's finest!
Very much enjoyed the read.
~Hugs to you both, Nancy~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Oh, now this is what needed to happen.

Truly, the sea meeting the shore.

Beautiful my fine friends, I am so happy to see this

When I saw both of your names on a poem, I knew I was in for a treat....but I had no idea what a treat it would be. This is absolutely flawless -- and seamless.
