I’ve Watched I’ve watched the pink within the sky Floating in a butterscotch lie A moving rose upon a shroud Passing on a moving cloud It painted me a morning’s dew With pink and amber to the view Filtering my wake of day Making me a phantoms way And down this road I waked in joy Singing like a choir boy Plucking flowers by the side At peak of life before they died And in the amble of the morn I bathed within this brook of dawn Splashing chaos into drops Making colored lollypops It was an Eden of my mind An Eden that is there to find |
