lost within
enchantment
gazing deep
within the future
my soul
ten paces behind
running backwards
within
a tangled web
of the past
Arthur
I am forever cursed...
without your love
who am I...
I once was
your Gwenhwyfar
Now...
I am plagued
fruitless in my desire
meandering
aimlessly
amongst the Isle of Avalon
caught somewhere in between
the mists
and
the past
Arthur, who am I...
for no longer do
I feel as if
I am still your
Gwenhwyfar

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

I really like how you describe Gwen's despair, but even more I'm intrigued by your use of different fonts, so you can read the poem in different ways. Great job!

Gwenhwyfar-Guinevere, Guineivre, Ginerva

Which ever name you answer to when called,
(You are one and all the same)...Fear I, this Arthur
Be, not the king of old in this poetic tale-
But sad exists within your present realm...
Fair queen, upon my knee
I offer you my shield and bow...pray I
Your king sees clear a path return to thee,
If that be your true intent and hope,
And all the past between be glad for gave, if not--
Take a second try at Lancelot...

enjoyed the poem
