spurring  sudden thunder
Tapering mornings slumber
traveling bracelets spend moment smoke
take heart

distance far alone
abalone home
sand to sand
blur through blue
memory is real true

-going to leave the island for the first time in a long time.

redheart

to go alone anywhere is sometimes scary...I wish you well.  I like the images you left in your poem.

Always, always I do a happy screen dance when I find you've ventured "home" again.

Lawsy I love how you write--there's a certain fragile strength to your work.

Love you lady Amelia.

What a precious soul you are.

It's nice to see your words gracing these pages...not knowing what the future holds when you venture out is exciting and scary...and u've captured it so well..love this!

Amelia, you have been so missed here at Passions!
It's wonderful to read you again.
Have a wonderful trip off of the island,
but, please come back to visit more often.
~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back
