I thought I had left those words behind
years ago, when I walked out the door
not shedding a tear or looking back
while under my breath I swore
your negativity wouldn't be able
to hurt me any more,

our common bond is now thirteen
and you didn't bother to question
when, where and with who?
I again ending up being the one
left without a single clue....

I, the mother...loosing her mind
my little girl I had to find
making phone calls
to here and there
knowing in my heart
that she could be anywhere

and you- with your so called
intelligent words of advice
left me no reason to doubt
why I am no longer your wife

cutting deep, and haunting me
with similar words from our yesterdays
"just leave the door open
cuz you know no one would rape you
anyway."

I refuse to make plans past this moment in time....

I agree with D.  and I'm a fine one to give advice...but ya know, I've heard it said, that when you meet someone who treats you with love and respect, you'll never again think of this person, and ponder why you spent so much time doing so....

Maybe one day, you and I will think that way to?  I hope so hun....love Lee J.

Donna

you the mother beautiful heart and soul....

hugging you toooooo....luv you....

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes this art

Know what?  I pity people like that they are really lacking in self esteem, then shrug and move on. There is no dealing with a frantic Mother is there?  I think this one deserves a

Well my friend, you can only be the best you can be within the bonds of who you are, and if that isn't good enough for someone else, then shame on them, not you, because obviously they are far from attaining the same glorious height you've already reached.

Small (and I don't mean in statue) people always abuse those who are whole within themselves and they have many lives ahead of them before attaining the peace of which they are so jealous.

Be yourself, and though you can never stop the sting of such things, rest easy with the knowledge that your pain is nothing compared to the self-inflicted pain they suffer.

Be you, be the best you can be - something they are far from attaining.

...by the way, that glow in the sky is my heart - hugging you, always.

pay no heed to unkind words...I usually tell people to bite me I know I'm very juvenille at 24 I try not to take things to heart...easier said then done   this touched me tho

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

Oh Donna, Sweetie, I so understand this!! I wish I could reach right through this screen and give you and the daughter both a great big grandmotherly hug!!! I so despise people who verbally abuse others. They make scars that take longer to heal than scars made pysically.....if they ever heal!! Those kiinds of scars go way down deep inside a person's being.

But hon, I know you already know all this. I love you, Donna!!
Heart Hugs to you and your daughter both,
Ethel
