I sit here and wonder,
Why is it that I’m “different”,
People tell me Oh don’t say poor me,
But there are times when it’s hard not to,
Infection after infection,
Argument after argument,
I tell them it’s not my fault that I‘m in a wheelchair or that I get infections,
But it’s no use,
I feel as though I still get blamed,
I put a smile on my face,
To make it look as though I’m happy,
But I’m really not,
Even as I write this I’m fighting back tears,
Can’t take it anymore,
I just can’t.

Life is a gift so live it to the fullest!

Keep holding on...blame is not yours...but your conviction sometimes loses its way.  Have faith that your words are the healing that you need.
