Silver Queen Gondola

Just another spring dream for the May queen,
but I feel so happy I could scream,
give of yourself as the Angels do,
they say wonderful things will come to you.

Junebug polyphony fills the canny breeze,
children frolic in cotton candy meadows woolgathering,
fond hope inflates my air castle,
God is my Lord, and you and I are the vassal...

In a shapeless flame,
you feel his illustrious Name,
gently kiss your face,
as children dream,
in pajamas of ice cream,
on a Silver Queen Gondola to the stars...

Starships blink topaz in the distance,
tansy asters and chicory twirl to the stars on a whim,
cousins of the cosmos re-unite,
could this be the height's heyday or just the heyday's height?

White river cascades through the ice garden,
in the shaved ice paradise of a girl's phantasm,
she sees gossamer fawns musing about the Maroon Bells,
and in this moment she's happier than she's ever felt...

In a shapeless flame,
you feel his illustrious Name,
gently kiss your face,
as children dream,
in pajamas of ice cream,
on a Silver Queen Gondola to the stars...

The heavens come and massage me,
tuck me under blankets of hyssop,
children, I know there's an easier way to heaven,
then climbing the stairway...

O Sweet Angel O' Mine! How captivating. I truly enjoyed this read...as I always do. This one...though...took me somewhere. I was just swaying in the breeze...feeling it cascade across my face. Lovely...My Dancing Gypsy Friend...utterly lovel!
