Getting Through

Weeping stings
    salt that falls upon the skin

Moans deadening
   slient sounds that clench the insides

Lonliness unbearable
   memories of her smiling face

Tender touch
    yesterday's hug never again

Todays pain
    too much to bear

Tomorrow's promise
    Hoping it is not a lie

The moment
    Trying to get through...
