Between the Lines

0 posted 2005-07-25 05:46 AM

awaking to the pounding
routine
inside and out
a meeting of realities
to press the buttons
hanging by a thread

so much silence that
thoughts are heard
through the feeling
of moments
waited for

sheerness of habit
the has-been of yesterday
but
tomorrow's fashion show
a gift
of curiosity

reflecting on the worth of
the image before me
each line
a question's answer
entertained
by the returning smile
with lips
a taste of whispering warm

'so much silence that

loved that...I understand the silence, well.

I think I heard
the slight strains
of a minuet, as well!
