Each

Each of us will rock and roll
The ebb tide of a searching soul
Though connotations mock the word
It is the milk that makes the curd

The symbol is the ball I play
The game is life in every way
And all are players till we die
You cannot sit a bench and sigh

You stay the field of gray and green
You weave a portion of the scene
You interlock and rock and roll
That is the game that is the goal

And all that pass beneath the sun
Are multiples of one and one?
Within the book of time that flows
The wind that eternity blows

And knowledge is the parity
Of life and singularity

Seymour, it has always been such a pleasure to read you poetry. Thank you for sharing it with us. If you have a book of your poetry, I sure would like to get one. I could sit and read your poetry all day.

And you, with all your wisdom, have understanding.

Excellent words of wisdom here Sy m'friend.
Very much enjoyed the read.

I feel like the little White Rabbit
who fell out of his daily habit
of getting to read
her daily needs...
so I'm reaching back a day, dagnabbit!
