Of Pin and Sin

I sit upon a mythic pin
As sharp a pin as any sin
And feel the pain within my brain
Seining like a thing insane

It spreads a net about my see
A let that clouds humanity
It plays within an open wound
That places me an Isle marooned

Yet still I search the clouds on high
A dreamers wile, a thought, a sigh
To make a breakfast for a king
So I can be a bird and sing

And thought I watch conformity
I cannot stop my vanity
Nor can I stop the pins annoy
No matter how I self employ

This protest of this utters sigh
Perhaps it’s best I let it fly

we hurt ourselves through many choices we make, but through self examination, we grow and let it go, moving forward, like a top...never ending....

Oh you do relay a great race...and I love reading your wisdom...thank you

Sometimes it's best to just let it go Sy.
Loved this one.
Have a relaxing enjoyable weekend.
Hugs & Smiles, Nancy

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Nodding...I do know this.  I have to agree with Nancy, sometimes you just got to let it go.

Excellent writing, just as I remembered it to be.
