I Slipped

Today I’ve slipped the bars of wean
And walked within a gardens scene
And wondered at the palettes lush
The sky above and field of brush

Each footstep placed upon the floor
Filled me with vivacious awe
Left my mouth a whoosh of sigh
The gold and azure of the sky

And flowers spoke of magic bloom
With gentle odors of consume
Lacing me within the art
And making me a living part

Its there I touched a moments light
That took away the dark of night
And placed me on a throne of grace
A king within a common space

Then once again I felt the bars
But this time the bars were stars

A most beautiful garden to remind one of his own humanity and the fleeting privilige of experiencing life on this planet ...  Stars' bars are better than metal and drink...

A most beautiful morning read Sy!
I'm off and running to take on the day.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Everytime I read you I find myself wishing I could go for a walk with you.

And nodding, I know I have said it before, but everytime I read you, I realize that I just did.

Your poetry is like...that first cool front, when all the flowers are still bragging summer, but the weather is fine, so fine.

Yeah, you are like that.
