He stands in the doorway to watch her walk past
Each day the same thing, his eyes to cast
On this vision of beauty that clouds his mind
And makes his heart for others, blind

Always in the shadows, never daring to talk
But today is different, he steps out as she walks
Past his little café and he hands her a note
Full of the feelings that he wrote

She smiles at him and walks away
Clutching the note not a word does she say
Till she gets down the block and out of his sight
She unfolds the paper she held so tight

And reads of a love for her she’s never known
A love that no man to her has shown
She walks back toward him with trepidation
His heart is fluttering with anticipation

They meet at the doorway and go inside
No one is there, they don’t have to hide
They let free the passion they have for each
They share the climax they both have reached

Alone at a table they sit and talk
Until finally it’s time to finish her walk
She says, “I’ll be back” and fumbles in her tote
And hands him a worn and tattered note

That tells of a love for him he’s never known
A love that no woman to him has shown
And as he reads he knows for sure
He will spend eternity here with her.

There is something so romantic about him owning a cafe'.  lol...I realize I am nuts but so don't care.

Coffee and Chocolate.  That is what his cafe' sells.

This pulled me in until I became her.

Loved it!

B E A U T I F U L ! !

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back
