(This is just a cute, sassy love poem inspired by a daydream of imagining if I (a Scorpio) were to fall for a Gemini, which is considered a least compatible sign to Scorpio, and just going with that risk, and then blending poker elements in to celebrate the 2005 World Series of Poker, which I always love watching!  I've always been a poker fan, playing it all the time for fun and aspire some day to play in a tournament! Her ruling planet is Mercury, while mine is Pluto, I look good in emerald green, she looks good in yellow, she’s one with the birds, and I'm one with the eagles… . …talkin’ about 2-7 off-suit love… . . . So what if I’ve got butterflies in my stomach, telling me for my heart to play a reverse tell, so long to this practical slice of life! The heart never really knows who you’re playing with, until the game becomes short-handed, I want to sit back and enjoy the ride! She tells me she loves Melbourne, I tell her I love New Orleans, I’ve got a fetish for recycling, she’s got something for publishing, I tend to be a bit calculating, she’s got something to say about everything… …talkin’ about 2-7 off-suit love… . . . She can’t resist leaping ahead, I’m just a bit more conservative, she can be quick-witted, I can be secretive, yet the more I think about it, I feel between us something’s relative… …talkin’ about 2-7 off-suit love… So what if I’ve got butterflies in my stomach, telling me for my heart to play a reverse tell, so long to this practical slice of life! The heart never really knows who you’re playing with, until the game becomes short-handed, I want to sit back and enjoy the ride! Sometimes arranged love isn’t so much fun, it just doesn’t work for everyone, playing that poker face and splashing the pot, love is blind and it doesn’t endorse angle-shootin’, I’m lookin’ for somethin’ high-falootin’, baby, let’s see what you’ve got! . . . If you’re in a card game, let me in you on a lil’ peep, if you don’t know who the sucker is, that sucker’s me, sorry, Sir Kant, perception isn’t always reality… …when talkin’ about 2-7 off-suit love… . . .
