O’ rose of red, it is as if your bloom
Has blossomed to reveal your very soul,
A beauty rare, with scent of sweet perfume
To fill night’s air, with hint of love’s extol.

Your pulchritude, outshines the welkin night
As Venus fails, when to your bloom compared,
In heaven’s high, sing muses in delight
Whil’st gaze upon, a gem with mortals shared.

Then comes new day, and in dawn’s gentle glow,
You bloom anew, in splendored radiance,
Satin petals, ensconced in dawn’s bestow,
No words describe, beyond magnificence.

O’ rose of red, your beauty does impart,
Love’s tender touch, to kiss upon my heart

an exquisite power of a sonnet ....

and the words only add to its awe.
