I Feel

I feel the nearness of dismay
My palette dries a coats display
The light grows dimmer to my eye
My hearing is a simmers fly

My thoughts are smoldering with age
And time has coated white the rage
Though fire glows within the core
A coat of snow has cooled the raw

And sleep and dream now supersede
The down shift of my living need
To other paths dimension free
Where I can see the inner me

Its here I play with fantasy
Green fields and love and ecstasy
I drink this nectar of a kind
The mellow wine of my mind

Even smoothed the sea with rhyme and
Illusions stop the tick time

Sir, we would never know unless you told us -- your words continue to reveal your true inner self, and that, my friend, is timeless.  Enjoying each write of yours I'm able to read...

Just remember how much better wine gets with age....I find myself becoming happier the older I get because then I can see what is truly important to me...as I weave fantasies with my words I find my life is filled with joy that I can share with others....You share so much beauty and wonder with us that you help weave a vision that opens our hearts to drink of the man you truly are....thank you for quenching our thrist with the elixir of your soul....**big hugs**

I don't know if it stops the tick of time, but maybe it makes it the back beat?  I do the same, my friend, I do the same.

My library has a new one to add with this.  I think I'll join you there (in illusion land) for a cup of renewal!   ....jo
