Continues Asking Why

My mind was racing
Like a speeding train
My heart is aching
Feeling so much pain

My mind is activated
In thoughts endlessly
My heart is sinking
In deeper melancholy

My mind with queries
Confusion is collected
My heart sinks down
Since feeling dejected

My mind will question
Continues asking why
My heart concealed
It hides the tears I cry

My mind ever thinking
Mixes bitter and sweet
My heart once whole
Left feeling incomplete
