the moon bends toward
the death of day
it plays the night, you,
and then me

it circles its white garments
and talks to us in silence
(((like oceans swarming)))

to then gallop into waves

crashing

i weigh it with my arms
drink the twilight, and its
reflection in your eyes

O heaven-ly one
i see the silent dreams
i see them hanging
in the trees
soft and pulpy

ready to harvest

yes!!
a harvest

beneath her
heavenly glow,
even a tainted goddess
wears a golden halo.

I do savor the term
of oceans swarming

and imagine
how the ocean's swarming
might feel on the skin
of the shore

enjoyed your work ms D

It IS breathtaking . . . it made me feel like the entire Earth was billowy and alive.

You do that when you write, you know?

Make the Earth speak, Maree.

I've always loved your work, Dark Angel. You have a way of creating a lush world with just your word sketches. Very lovely.

And so are you. Nice picture.

oceans swarming

vivid and a powerful image gorgeous one

I love that much, because, I happen to know, there's a certain amount of atmospheric pressure when things like that happen, and oh how apt a visual for intensity

As God is my witness, you are more poetic than Sylvia, more real than an eclipse of the sun.

Great writing, Maree!
