Nothing Left

How dare you bend your mighty sword
    on words you did potray
You cling to dirt that stains
your hands and promises you made

You toyed with feelings not your own
    and marveled with delight
When love did turn her broken heart
    you then took to flight

How innocent you thought you were
you played your game so well
You didn't think about the rest
and worse not cared enough to tell

What sting there is to know these truths
   and accept this posion pill
What heart can bear this hollow
beast and accept this at will

Oh, let me die in a wave of swoon
that I may no longer feel
Take it all my heart, my mind, whatever's there
    nothing left is real

Thank you Passing Shadows for your reply.
I'm just letting out some poetic steam after having lost someone very close. I'm O.K. just excerising my poetic prorogitive and redirecting some energy.

You are sweet to show such concern appreciate it very much
