            YOU TELL ME
             BY CARINA
You tell me that you're gonna leave her,
but why should i trust you.
You tell me that you love me,
you tell her that too.
You tell me that I'm beautiful,
you tell her that she's gorgeous.
You you tell me she means nothing,
you tell her she means everything.
You tell me that we're lovers,
You tell her we're just friends.
Now I'm telling you that,
I was a fool for falling in love with you.
I'm telling you that you have a girlfriend,
I'm not about to make it two.

I like that you worked your way through this and came to the only logical conclusion, even though feelings don't often follow a logical path. Good for you!

Smart move on your part. I can't stand a person who tries to get away with dating 2 people at the same time. Awesome poem.

Poetry is beauty in words.
