her eyes played music then
at the side of old being born
at the white washed mission
where demons wore long sleeves

she stood tall for me
measuring the parts of me
she needed to lean on
with her long times lonely

I told her of the city there
beyond the sea side towns
where her athena would be free
to carry a whisper box yes

and wear the ink of a man
on her bare shoulders
when she walked the dunes
and asked forgivness of her god

for the velvet of a carnal blessing

A blessing indeed....and a whisper box "yes" is all that's ever needed.

you can really make one feel alive again, shame another stomps it back down to nothing  as always.

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
