My pod or yours?
Today a flighty little bumbling bee
did chase me relentlessly,
assuming I sent my scent
to capture the essence of he
who would hover above me devotedly.

Little did I understand
how the scented power of love’s band
could so recklessly capture anyone,
that the scent I wore upon my hand
would summon such devotion
from the likes of he!

Oh, but to cast the same spell
upon the heartbeat of my desire!

Alas, love’s moments pass unrequited!

you know, this is why I love you and your writing, I just never know what I am going to stumble across
and Kacy?
The play on words here and the scheme is just perfect, besides the message, of course.

did chase me relentlessly,
assuming I sent my scent
to capture the essence of he
who would hover above me devotedly.

you're welcome, lady Sunshine
gotta watch out for those sunny little bees when you tip-toe through the wildflowers

Kacy
A delightful read....but be careful
Some bees have very little merit and can sting hard, beyond that, they have few talents...
Wasps and hornets can be confused with honey makers...But all can be attracted by your perfume...

Cool rhyming scheme, coupled with cute verses... light and refreshing.
