A Long Winter

It seems like winter came early this year
Even the sunniest of days feel grey
In cold isolation with dreams fading to black
My emotions and feelings have gone into a deep freeze
Unable to express them, I retreat into seclusion

I don’t know when I will re-emerge
From this frozen abyss
It looks like it will be a long winter
Until the thaw arrives, if and when I can feel again
I will warm myself in dark reclusion

(I am taking break, thank you for your reads and comments, I apologize for not commenting much, I am barely a writer, it is hard for me to be a critic. Again Thank You All, Take Care):-)Paz

It is often thought easier to look at happiness than to look upon the reality of sadness Paz.  The truth however, is that each of us lives the balance of both, with or without our consent.

As you have shared your feelings here, you have helped and healed many. I will miss you here, and although I respect always your own knowing...know that you will be missed until you return.

Good writes....all of them.
