A part of me was lost today
Along a tunnel’s way
Somewhere in London’s corridors
Beneath the light of day

Along the tracks of no return
An ocean’s width apart
Someone has pilfered flesh and bones
And pieces of my heart

A part of me was sacrificed
To terrorism’s rage
A little bit of brotherhood
Was snatched from earth’s sweet stage

The more they hone the dagger’s edge
More honored are my deeds
The more they suffocate my cause
The more I want to breathe

The greater the offensive force
More gentle is my dove
The more they champion violence
The more I offer love

For there is one more powerful
Whose wonders never cease
Who christened me "Survivor"
And bestowed the name of “Peace”

And though I’m willing to defend
My kindred human race
Within this war of violence
My arms wait to embrace

Yes, so many do and I often wonder why it doesn't make a difference.  A touchingly beautiful write in the sentiments expressed.

only your heart could vision this...

while watching a reinactment of 9-11 from the terrorists point of view...it is so difficult to comprehend, how they've misinterrured their Bible, and really do believe they're supposed to be exterminating innocent, women and children for the cause of God...this surely is a sickness Liz....
one of which is so far beyond comprehension...bless your heart...for these words and for your prayers....hugs
