Silence Severs Like A Knife

My love continued to flow
Seems it never mattered
Silence had taken its toll
My heart is left shattered

Whilst I continued to care
Until I find they care less
It was when my tears fell
Into the hollow emptiness

They had taken everytyhing
Along with heart and key
Left only the empty shell
I was drained emotionally

Silence severs like a knife
Breaking my heart in two
Those promises they gave
Were not followed through

Absolutely Wonderful Ms. Hope,
Yet another one I can relate to very much. Sometimes I wonder why Love or caring about someone has to hurt so bad no matter what your age is, the pain is the same.
