The nests of April
revealed through leafless branches,
below, 2 bluejays
pose where the robbins first sang;

can they still hear springs echo?

That, my friend...

or they are just getting ready

for the rebirth!

Bittersweet longing, brings back very warm feelings for me of first meeting a very special and wonderful friend of mine....Thank you

They have all flown off
vanished in the southern sky;
the spring robins-
but their song ever remains
in echoes of springs past.

*smile*

I point that out to Billy everytime we see the naked branches.

But I saw so much more in this.
