In a state of disrepair...

0 posted 2005-07-05 10:37 AM

When my poison breaks over the
Rocks of refrigeration
The crack of ice
Is indicative of illumination.
Sounds a thousand dulled notes
In the circuitry of synapse.
The soul of servitude
Written in zymurgy.

Then…

The words that form the sentence
Of your very thought
Are spoken all reversed,
Transpired but not rehearsed.
Yet the very fumbling
Of your processed verse
Belies the inherent interest
In the unpractised words

Zymurgy...

"And the sun went down, and the stars came out far over the summer sea,
But never a moment ceased the fight of the one and the fifty-three."

Interesting read but I enjoyed it.

Poetry is beauty in words.

@ Lee....yep, me too and when I got it, I thought, "how cool!"

"Written in zymurgy"

Fermented words.
and "processed verse."
