In a state of disrepair...

0 posted 2005-07-05 10:28 AM

I contradict myself
Yet I feel consistent.

I abhor the soul,
Am amorous of suicide
Admire strength
Adore weakness.

Am I conditioned to consequence
Or cause?
Just an interesting deviation
On the current theme?

Anything I say is just imitation
A simulation of normality

I cannot fight the bitterness,
The sense of stationary soul.
My lack of cause that
Brings me to pause.

There is no fight, no applause,
No ideal nor clue.
It is the dusk that sinks the sun
On my human interaction

No sense of scale remains
To remind, to instruct, to reconstruct.

Everything I ever said is an analogy
Of my passivity.
I must display naivety
For posterity,
Lest I be forgotten
For my ignorance
Polished as acumen
Is all world play
Word association
Psychobabble
Freudian
Slip
Break
Spiral
Arm
Galaxy

Where is the meaning?

"And the sun went down, and the stars came out far over the summer sea,
But never a moment ceased the fight of the one and the fifty-three."

Life is a circuitous route which hopefully gains in meaning as we travel towards the Light at our journey's end...

A very thought-provoking write.

across the land of dreams. In your heart, I'd always be.

indeed where is the meaning?
maybe simply deep down in your heart.
You have expressed it so intellectually that it makes my own intellect gasp...
Thank you for such a wonderful write.

it's hard to find meaning in such multi-layered feeling and thinking...and maybe we never will, who knows?

somehow I could relate to this piece in my own life right now

I believe it's all there amidst the colors of all things...and the meanings hold close the truth of who we are and what we're searching for...each individual, his/her own guide, for the individual needs of the spirit...it is wise to allow...

I must display naivety
For posterity,

*shakes head*  yep....exactly...

We are all walking contradictions..and if anyone disagrees I would ask them to think about the person they are at work, at home...where ever...we play roles, maybe not all the time...but a lot of it.

Can you tell how much I enjoyed this piece?

I am very glad you started posting.
