after the blondes leave
and the greys step up to the plate
am I going to red too late?

I said, no way today
and changed the scenery

now, wearing a blue shirt
with red hair
and my pale white skin?

salute me, I dare ya
for today
I am

red
white
and blue

and smiling atchu

freedom and liberty
to me today
was a simple choice

perhaps, next week
a new photo

look out for the new redhead

LOL, thanks! I did it
talk about RED! No one has seen it yet but me, since I just did it this afternoon. Hope I don't scare my daughter when she gets home tonight, she's been gone four days, may think she is in the wrong house. LOL, but it is...RED, and bright, almost carrot color...which is what three sisters and brothers had naturally, all wanting something different. LOL, me, always the blonde/sometimes strawberry blonde in summer...now THE OLDER REDHEAD! And I am smiling, for it will be so much fun to show up at work tomorrow....

You go lady! I've a someone in my life who detests "red" and the "blondes" that I visit with my hair tone border on just enough "red" to make that certain someone see it!

It is wonderful that you are going outside the BOX...so to speak...LOL...

LOL at that box comment Sunshine

thanks, JCP! glad you enjoyed this red headed light moment.

Now, to go back out onto the playground as a redhead...Hmmm
I forgot where the playground is!

I tried brown once and it didn't suit me very good

I'll never do that again, for sure!

Can't wait to see the picture!

Those who have redheaded locks,
Are given to passing out shocks.
They tell us with zest
"I'm quite at my best,
When telling of life's toughest knocks."

You're full of surprises, Kacy.  Well done.  KJ

and you will be a luscious auburn!

(you have correct skin tones for red)

You may proceed.

can't wait for the results! (and somehow I think it'd be quicker to fly you here and do it m'self.)

sighing

a midnitesun going red...the poetic potential slays me. *thunk*

You go, Red! lol

My grandmother was a redhead and I have always wanted to give it a try. My hair has always been the same dark brown ~ mind you, mother nature has been adding some silver highlights! Sad

Fun poem! ~ Fun YOU!

LOL, you guys and gals are all so good to me!
My daughter promises to take a few digital pix tomorrow, then I'll post a new photo. She likes the new color. I still got a shock this morning when I looked in the mirror. LOL

....but-but-but I still don't know what happens after the blondes leave!

....hmmm, maybe it's too good to tell in Open? Or, maybe when they leave, so does everybody else, so nothing at all happens!

On the other hand, I do have a rather famous weakness for red.....

LOL, I had forgotten about this blonde/red write. Wellll, now that that red rinse has washed itself out and I'm blonde/grey again? YES! time to grab the red or perhaps strawberry? and go for broke!
LOL, dangit, how did you know it was that time again to play havoc with mother nature?
