I beseech
   a tribute of kindness
   a moment's taste of your
   from my blindness

      I implore
         my simple gratitude
         within this, something more
         shared attitude

I pray
   each day forward shall find
   the warmth that carries through
   this tender bind

      I ask
         only to walk with me
         this path wearing my shoe
         as it should be ...

"In life's giving ... love is a gift, such worth living."

If it wasn't right, wasn't real ...
then why did it make us feel ....?

your pictures make words come alive.....poEtry in motion....luv you....

I keep a fragrance bottle my
muse gave me when I met him
in endless winter and he
settled me into remembering
who I am.

I like this. The poem felt as old as the picture. Nicely done.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

This poem really reminded me, especially with the picture with it, that there are old values out there still and still there are old people out there who need a friend.  Everybody needs a friend for if we isolate ourselves too long, we become old and hard.  Very nice poem of remembrance.
