Because I Am Forever Hoping

Your past weeks of silence
Are still my reason for concern
Since we never said goodbye
I wonder if you would return

My heart can still be found
For I remember we said forever
As we both gave the promise
Our bonds would not sever

I have kept true my promise
After you gave your guarantee
Even those times when apart
You still hold my heart key

True feelings I have shared
I have shown whenever I write
Because I am forever hoping
That our hearts would unite
